Cookie Policy
What cookies ThinkATS uses and why we don't need a consent banner.
1. Our approach to cookies
ThinkATS is committed to privacy by design. We have deliberately chosen tools and infrastructure that do not require the use of tracking cookies or consent banners on our marketing website (thinkats.com).
This page explains what cookies are, what we use, and why no cookie consent mechanism is required on our marketing site.
2. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They can be used for essential functions (keeping you logged in), analytics (understanding how visitors use a site), or advertising (tracking behaviour across sites for targeted ads).
Under GDPR and the NDPA 2023, non-essential cookies — analytics and advertising cookies — require informed user consent before being set. Essential cookies required for a service to function do not require consent.

3.1 Analytics — Plausible Analytics
ThinkATS uses Plausible Analytics for website analytics. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics platform that:
- Sets no cookies of any kind on your device
- Collects no personally identifiable information
- Does not track individuals across sessions or across websites
- Does not use fingerprinting or any other tracking technology
- Stores data on EU-based infrastructure (Germany)
- Is fully compliant with GDPR, NDPA, and ePrivacy regulations
Because Plausible uses no cookies and collects no personal data, no consent is required for its use under applicable law. You will not see a cookie consent banner on thinkats.com because no consent is needed.
3.2 Essential platform cookies (app.thinkats.com)
The ThinkATS application (app.thinkats.com) uses essential session cookies to keep you authenticated while using your workspace. These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function and do not require consent under applicable law. They are not used for tracking or advertising.
3.3 Advertising and tracking cookies
ThinkATS does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking scripts, or any cross-site tracking technologies on thinkats.com or any associated subdomain.
If this changes at any point, this policy will be updated, a cookie consent mechanism will be implemented before any such technologies are deployed, and active Customers will be notified.
4. Third-party cookies
ThinkATS does not load third-party scripts that set cookies on thinkats.com. We do not embed social media widgets, advertising networks, or third-party content that would result in third-party cookies being set on your device without your knowledge.
5. Your choices
Since thinkats.com does not use cookies for analytics or advertising, there is no cookie preference to manage on our marketing site.
For essential authentication cookies on app.thinkats.com, these are required for the platform to function. You may clear these by logging out of your workspace or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Clearing authentication cookies will log you out.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. For more information, visit your browser's help documentation or allaboutcookies.org.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will implement an appropriate consent mechanism before doing so.
